Jim Hays Chief Executive Officer

Jim Hays is responsible for implementing Invictus’ strategic direction and managing all external stakeholder engagements and requirements. Jim brings over 25 years of leadership in military, aviation, and business operations. He’s a proven leader in the UAS industry and has served as the Director of Aviation Operations and Deployed Operations for a large
UAS OEM.

Previously, he also held the role of Program Manager for all Marine Corps programs and has operational experience supporting a Tier 1 customer as a ScanEagle Mission Coordinator. During his time in the Marine Corps, Jim accumulated over 2500 flight hours as a CH-46 aviator, completed two combat deployments as a forward air controller, and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He holds an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.

Melanie Ditton Chief Financial Officer

Melanie Ditton is responsible for managing the company’s finances, including financial planning, managing financial risk, and financial reporting.  Melanie plans, directs and coordinates the Invictus’s finance and accounting functions.

Melanie has 35 years of public and private accounting experience.  Prior to Invictus, Melanie was a partner in a CPA firm for 15 years and has held corporate CFO and Controller positions.  She is a CPA and earned her Accounting degree at the University of Oregon.  Go Ducks!

Matt McLaughlin Chief Operating Officer

Matt McLaughlin is responsible for the implementation of organizational structure and the flawless execution of all customer requirements. Matt brings 20 years of aviation operational leadership and management experience to Invictus. Previously, he served as the Director of Deployed Operations at a large UAS OEM, where he led and managed a team of over 360 UAS field service representatives and support staff.

Matt is a certified Integrator Operator and ScanEagle Mission Coordinator, as well as a prior Marine Officer, AV-8B Harrier pilot, and instructor pilot. He holds an MBA from the University of Washington Foster School of Business and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Oregon.

Jon Grinter Chief Resource Officer

Jon Grinter is responsible for the recruitment, retention, and performance management of all Invictus personnel, as well as identifying new opportunities for growth within the industry.

Jon has over 25 years of operational leadership and personnel management experience in both the Marine Corps and the private sector. Jon has learned the UAS industry from the ground up having completed multiple deployments as a UAS Operator and Site Manager. Prior to his current role, he was an Operations Manager, who was responsible for deploying FSRs around the globe and managing their performance, and a Human Resources Business Partner.

Jon has held multiple leadership positions within various Marine Corps infantry units and has extensive combat deployment experience in Iraq, including spearheading the assault to recapture Fallujah. Jon is currently a Marine Corps reservist where he holds the rank of Sergeant Major and is assigned to a Marine assault support squadron.

Jodi Mosier Program Manager UAS Services

Jodi Mosier is responsible for managing all Invictus UAS Services requirements and leading and mentoring a global UAS Operations team. She manages all Invictus services contracts and is responsible for exceeding customer expectations and executing within budgets.

Prior to her current role, Jodi was a Deployed Operations Manager at Insitu, responsible for supporting UAS Operators deployed around the world. For six years she was directly responsible for executing all staffing requirements for SOCOM’s MEUAS contracts where she actively managed sixty-seven deployed personnel at four forward-deployed sites totaling 3100 flight hours a month. Jodi also spent over 15 years working as a litigation paralegal bringing that attention to detail and customer service focus to the support of her customers and operators.
